Day 67

11/21/2013

One week until Thanksgiving.  I wonder if the farm guys have killed my turkey yet? Probably.
The chemistry students completed any necessary calculations for the Stoichiometry Lab and created, hopefully, 2.00 grams of a solid. Tomorrow we will begin the filtering process and let the solid dry over the break.
The AP Biology students got their Genetics quiz back and we went over it.  Then I talked a long time about fruit flies. We touched on the mutations found in fruit flies, the mating habits (Brady seemed weirdly interested in that) and just how darn cool they are. We are even having a fruit fly party tomorrow to celebrate their arrival.
