In chemistry today we took the idea of balancing equations and turned it up a notch.  We learned a little about stoichiometry. Yes, stoichiometry.  Click on the word powerpoint to view the presentation from today.  First student(s) that let me know how much lithium hydroxide was aboard Apollo 13 wins a prize!
The AP Biology students began new work in Genetics by exploring sex-linked traits, those traits found on the X chromosome and how that effects inheritance patterns in humans, especially males. There is a new homework assignment which can be found on the assignment page on this website.

Originally named "Prometheus," however, it's name was changed due to the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry wanting it to conform to the other elements and hence called it "Promethium."
