Big game tonight. Should be a lot of people here at WV.
The Chemistry students finished the rocket posters today. I wonder whose will be accurate and interesting.
The AP Biology students did some stuff today regarding Genetics, flies and some other related stuff. And now, on to Thanksgiving.

Only 11/18ths of the school year is left! I hope it goes fast.  Maybe like 7/18ths fast.
The Chemistry students shot rockets all period.  It was both fun and instructive.
The AP Biology students went over a bunch of genetic stuff, especially crossing over, map units, parental types and recombinants.

So school got uncancelled and, of course, there is a ton of kids missing. Pretty STUPID situation.
The Chemistry students worked on the rocket poster especially the before, during and after parts of the launch. Tomorrow we will have the official launches.
The AP Biology students went to the library one final time for the online Genetics thing.  It is due on Tuesday of next week.

We heard that school is cancelled on Wednesday and Thursday of this week because of more PGE outages.  Wow!
The Chemistry students did some test launches of their rockets.  There was some technical difficulties with the launch device so we may have the official launches.
The AP Biology students worked on the Chapter 14 and 15 Genetic problems.

One more week until Thanksgiving Break!! Yay!
What did we do? Hmmmmm....

I'm pretty sure the Chemistry students worked on their rocket poster.  Tomorrow we're going to do some test launches.
The AP Biology students worked on the Genetics online assignment which is just on Chapters 14 and 15.

Another Friday has come and gone. But another one is coming next week.
The Chemistry students had to answer a bunch of questions about the rockets we're gonna make next week.  In fact, they have to do this if they want to make rockets next week. And who doesn't want to make rockets next week?
The AP Biology students checked out how the future might look if genetic engineering on humans was totally cool with everyone. Genetics is awesome, isn't it?

Not a great day today. It doesn't help when there is like a million subs on campus.
The Chemistry students reviewed some stoichiometry steps and some did not.  The choices made by some students are interesting especially since working at In 'n' Out as a 40 year old probably isn't that great.
The AP Biology students reviewed sex-linked traits, genetic recombination and crossing over. They also made predictions about what the F2 grandkids might look like.

Yay!!! Today was the School-wide Write and a Collaboration Day!! We wrote and talked about San Francisco State University, my beloved alma mater.

Back from a nice little vacation.
The Chemistry students saw their first real stoichiometry problem.  I think some students are getting it while others are contemplating mediocrity.  Look it up.
The AP Biology students spent the period identifying the F1 kids of the fruit flies and setting up love nests for those same F1 kids.  The F2 grandkids will soon be here!

I wasn't here today.  By tradition, I go camping on the Veteran's Day Weekend.  The coast was real nice and I saw a dead whale which was not real nice.
The Chemistry students did some review stuff with balancing equations and stoichiometry.  Some classes went to the library to try some of the links found on Thursday's blog entry.
The AP Biology students worked on the Genetic Problems from Chapter 14.
