The Chemistry students turned up the electron dot diagram thing a notch by checking out Lewis electron dot structures. Ah, Gilbert Lewis. Check out his story here. It is worth a read. Anyway, Lewis structures are a little tougher but if you follow the rules, it's not too bad.
The AP Biology students look at red eyes and vestigial wings. No, they weren't watching Fox News. They were checking out the various mutations of the venerable Drosophila melanogaster, the fruit fly. We will be "mating" them next week if they cooperate.
