You know what? This first quarter is almost done. Man, that went fast.
The Chemistry students eagerly began the third unit of the year on Chemical Bonding. We went over some terms like ions and ionic bonding. We also discussed how to name ionic compounds and how to figure out their formulas. This was all in preparation for the big Water Testing Lab beginning on Monday.
The AP Biology students went over the steps of the Photosynthesis Lab which will happen on Monday, too. We will be measuring the rate of photosynthesis via the reduction of DPIP. Oh yeah. The students also discussed their plans for the Inquiry section of the Photosynthesis Lab. That'll probably happen on Thursday.
