Day 36

10/5/2017

I can't believe I corrected all the Chemistry Exams in one day, but I did. The grades have kinda come back to Earth a little bit.
The Chemistry students briefly discussed the results of the exam we had yesterday. Not all students are done yet os I'm gonna hold onto the actual exams for awhile. We also kinda chilled because I was prepping for the possible arrival of the DPIP and the subsequent Photosynthesis Lab in AP Biology. We saw how smart a Border Collie is too.
The AP Biology students began the Plant Pigments and Photosynthesis Lab by completing the relatively easy Plant Chromatography segment of the lab. We separated chlorophyll a and b, xanthophyll and, of course, carotene. We calculated the Rf for each of the pigments too.

It's my world-famous blog! Actually, it's famous among cool people that I know that are my students, past and present.
