Day 1..2..3... That means the year is starting to think about winding down. A lot of stuff will still happen from now until the end. I mean that quite literally.
The AP Biology students went to the library today to do one of 2 things. 1. Work on that assignment called Microorganisms and Disease that can be found at Mastering Biology. Or 2. Work on ideas to sell the disease-causing organism that you own and want to distribute to the rest of humanity for your own nefarious reasons. Look up nefarious, you'll be smarter.
The Chemistry students got their first look at the Gas Laws. Specifically, we studied Boyle's Law which explains the inverse relationship between the pressure and volume of a gas. We also discussed the Armstrong Line, that point in the atmosphere where you will die for sure if you're not wearing a pressure suit. All your exposed water will boil off there. Yuck!
