Day 106

2/8/2018

You know, this year is really going fast. P.S. I love the Olympics.  They're on right now.
The Chemistry students began a 2-day exercise where I will handle radioactive material (risking my life, BTW) and how different forms of shielding effects those radioactive sources. We will also see how distance effects the intensity of radiation that these sources emit. We will finish this activity next Tuesday. Monday is a holiday, you know.
The AP Biology students went to the library and worked on a couple of easy exercises involving evolutionary trees and cladograms, diagrams that can display evolutionary relationships. It's pretty easy and fun, too! Well, it is interesting.

It's my world-famous blog! Actually, it's famous among cool people that I know that are my students, past and present.
