The AP Biology students checked out the results of the brine shrimp experiment. Specifically, we want to see if the brine shrimp are hatching. It looks like no luck so far. We'll see what happens tomorrow. If nothing occurs, we may have to make some changes.
The Chemistry students used this period to practice the titration procedure. You see, titrations are used to determine the concentration of an acid or a base. We are going to be doing a lot of this in the coming days so it's a pretty good idea to practice using this equipment and that's what today was for.
