Day 99

Here's a great conversation starter - "What is the worst present you ever received?" You would not believe the stuff you hear. It's hysterical.
The AP Biology students discussed how the disappearance of the .400 hitter in baseball is related to the evolutionary phenomenon of stabilizing selection. The extremes of a population (the .400 hitter and the .150 hitter) were selected for extinction and the remaining hitters were closer to the mean which is around .265. P.S. Barry should be in the hall.
The Chemistry students began the new unit of study on Nuclear Chemistry. We had a 39 question quiz to see what we actually know about radiation, nuclear weapons and other related stuff.
P.S. When I say we and mean them. As in students them.
