Day 30

9/26/2016

Today is Day 30.  That means that the school year is 1/6th of the way done.  Only 5/6ths left to go! It'll go like that! (Imagine me snapping my fingers).
The AP Biology students did the Part A activity in the Cell Respiration Lab which involves finding the respiration rate in germinating peas and nongerminating peas. You know what is cool about the lab? The potassium hydroxide. I wonder how many students can truly appreciate the importance of the aforementioned base and look beyond its high pH and aqueous solution.
The Chemistry students began wrapping up the Make your Own Periodic Table activity. They saw the best example of putting together those 31 elements and how to reveal the identity of the mystery element. The students also found out that the next exam, the Unit 2 Exam, is on Friday.
