Day 25

9/19/2016

Day 25? That means the school year is 5/36ths of the way done! I bet the next 31/36ths go by fast!
The AP Biology students surveyed the amazing world of mitosis within allium root tip cells. By counting how many cells are in particular stages, we can make an estimate as to the length of each one of these stages.  Generally speaking, the more often you observe a cell in a particular stage, the longer that stage takes.  Get it?
The Chemistry students reviewed both isotope notation and mole to gram to atoms/molecules conversions. We're gonna have a quiz on this material tomorrow so the review, I hope, was worth it.  We also saw how oxygen, with it high electronegativity, is an important component in bombs.  Unfortunately, a lot of crazy people know this.
