The AP Biology students began, in earnest, the Mitosis and Meiosis Lab. The student viewed different stages of mitosis, most notably interphase. However and despite having a lot of things going for it, interphase is visually boring. Sorry interphase, it's true. Prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase also made appearances.
The Chemistry students used the Activote thingmabobs to review some basic information available to everyone with a Periodic Table. We did a bunch of mole to gram conversions and gram to mole conversions. These are calculations that are necessary tools for the young chemistry student. The student received a homework assignment on the previously mentioned calculations.
