The AP Biology students didn't do much today because a bunch of students were gone taking the AP English exam which they said was really hard. Wait 'til Monday. Wow, they're in for a surprise.
The Chemistry students conducted the Condensation Lab today. They took salicylic acid (a carboxylic acid) and methanol (an alcohol) and combined them to form methyl salicylate which is sometimes referred to as oil of wintergreen. We'll finish up the lab tomorrow.
