The AP Biology students wrapped up the discussion of human reproduction by witnessing the beautiful and joyous moments of childbirth. Ahhh, who are we kidding? It's a mess. Screaming, bodily fluids everywhere, screaming. Did I mention the screaming? Still, you get to hold Livi the first time. Pretty awesome.
The Chemistry students conducted the Combustion Lab where they measured the heat energy (in joules) that was produced by a burning candle. A pretty easy calculation to figure that out. Just gotta remember the specific heat of water is around 4.2 joule/gram oC.
