65 days seems like a lot to me. And Thanksgiving is almost here!!
The AP Biology students continued with their discussion of replication. We reviewed all the stuff from Chapter 16; DNA in all its glory. It's important to know stuff about DNA since it's the single most important molecule in the world. Well, water is up there too.
The Biology students reviewed simple genetic problems so everyone, and I mean everyone, knows how to do them. We got into groups and the expert students taught the not-expert students the intricacies of genetics. Tomorrow, we will have a make-up quiz for the students to do better on these problems.
The Chemistry students did a bunch of stoichiometry problems in an effort to make this intimidating subject somewhat more approachable. It takes a while for everyone to get it but we're getting there.
