Day 43

10/15/2015

The first quarter is almost over.  This year is flyin' by!
The AP Biology students began an in-depth review of the material that will be covered on the second exam of the year.  Which is Monday.  Next Monday.  Like in 4 days!
The Biology students learned how it might be possible to have a kid with any genetic make-up you would like. We also watched the end of Gattaca which shows how the future might be with genetic engineering gone crazy.
The Chemistry students completed the first day of the Ionic Compound Lab which involves the testing of different solutions for the presence of 4 different ions; chloride, calcium, sulfate and iron.
