The AP Biology students conducted experiments, of their own design, using the same basic set up as the Guided Activity portion of the Cell Respiration Lab. Students had meal worms, mung beans and crickets respiring like crazy in class today. It was great!
The Biology students completed the data analysis section of the Mitosis Lab. Through their calculations, the Biology students determined, among other things, that prophase in onion root tip cells takes approximately 42 minutes. And that, my friends, is exactly how long prophase takes in onion root tip cells.
The Chemistry students took the Unit 2 Exam today. Oh Boy!!
