Day 33

10/1/2015

A busy day for the students either getting ready for an exam, doing a lab investigation or prepping for an important experiment.
The AP Biology students did their final preparation discussion and planning for the Inquiry section of the cell respiration which will be conducted tomorrow.  Of course, selection of a variable and control and experimental groups were emphasized.  Duh.
The Biology students collected data regarding the different stages of mitosis within onion root tip cells.  The students counted cells that were in prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase of mitosis. By doing this, we can calculate how long each stage takes.
The Chemistry students completed their last day of review before the Unit 2 exam tomorrow.
