Day 143

4/11/2016

Start of a new week and a new perspective.
The AP Biology students began the Physiology of the Circulatory System Lab today.  We took each others pulse rates while standing, reclining and getting up really quickly.  Only several kids fainted while doing that.
The Biology students looked at a bunch of different organisms taken from vernal pools around my house.  We saw mosquito larva, daphnia and paramecium.  Pretty cool.  We will continue these observations this week.
The Chemistry students took a quiz on the Gas Laws after a quick review.  Most kids did pretty good. We will continue with the Ideal Gas Law tomorrow.
