The AP Biology continued the review of the Biodiversity Unit by using the Activ-Votes and taking a review quiz via a multimedia production produced by yours truly. Not a big deal, but an effective learning experience.
The Biology students checked out the agar plates for bacterial growth and, boy, was that disgusting. The 2 dirtiest places on campus (according to our data)? The gyms, both large and small. Gross. We also talked about how bacteria morphology can be used to name certain colonies.
The Chemistry students did some Charles' and Boyle's Law problems as a way to introduce the predictability of gases in normal situations, like classroom temperatures.
