The AP Biology students discussed invertebrates, those lowly denizens of the animal world. We checked out sponges, hydra and flatworms. We also watched how poisonous a snail can be. If it lives in Australia. Everything in Australia can kill you, even koala bears.
The Biology students discussed the possibility of a virus wiping out Chicago or Cottonwood. What would you do? I would go fishing before all the corpses clogged up the river. And get a vaccine.
The Chemistry students combined sulfuric acid, copper sulfate and zinc and made, obviously, hydrogen gas. Which we then lit on fire. Which is cool. But not temperature-wise.
