The AP Biology students continued their review of AP Biology exam material by looking at the short-answer section from last year's test. We even tried a couple of the questions. We also discussed how they are graded and how last year's students did on the exam.
The Biology students continued with the data analysis of the Simulating Natural Selection lab by beginning to graph the data. We will use this to determine whether or not camouflage helped our organism defend itself from a brutal assault by a predator.
The Chemistry students looked at 3 different types of radioactive material today. Cobalt-60, Strontium-90 and Polonium-210 were all observed closely, but not too closely by the students. Of course, in adequate amounts, these materials can turn an average high schooler into, well, let's just say they won't turn into the Incredible Hulk. More like the Quivering Mass of Pain.
