Is it me or is it too warm outside for early January?
The Chemistry students continued their work on the Acid and Base Lab. I showed the reaction of hydrochloric acid and 3 different metals; copper, magnesium and zinc. In all 3 cases, hydrogen gas is produced albeit slowly in copper's case.
The AP Biology students got a preview of the Mating Game, a simulation that shows the how gene frequencies can change from one generation to the next. Hey, that's evolution!
