The AP Biology students began the Genetics Unit today. Let's see.....we tasted phenylthiocarbamide, we learned a quick way of determining probabilities of genetic crosses and we reviewed simple monohybrid crosses.
The Chemistry students saw today that, yes, it is possible to turn a regular copper penny into a shiny gold penny. I showed 'em how it's done. Actually, I showed the students how to make a brass penny. It's cool.
