Day 20. That means the school year is 1/9th of the way complete. Only 8/9ths left to go! Yay!!
The Chemistry students got their first exam of the year back today. We went over in great detail. A lot of students did really good and that's fantastic! We also began an earnest look at all the information that the Periodic Table holds. We used the ActiVotes to answer questions regarding atomic number, molar mass and other things. We will continue that tomorrow.
The AP Biology students received the next laboratory assignment on Mitosis and Meiosis. We looked at different samples of onion root tip cells that are actively going through mitosis. It kinda looks like this:
